Her Spring 2010 line was being shot at her office in LA and I felt like the happiest kid watercoloring these giant flowers for her backdrop. I guess not too much skill is involved in coloring in the lines, but I love the result. He wrote and directed a short about an artist named Richard. I won't give a synopsis because I will probably butcher it's delicate and beautiful story line. My role was was to make Richards paintings. I looked to <a href="http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Egon_Schiele">Egon Schiele</a> for inspiration. Painting a fictional character was quite interesting. I had to paint like a man. A frustrated man. I didn't realize how feminine and happy my lines were until I began this project. I am in love! This is my 2nd week at Laguna College of Art. Wanted to chart my progress as an individual artist and not as a teacher and so I thought I would figure out this blog thing. Although as I am writing this, I am thinking that creating a blog would be a sweet assignment for my advanced students next year...
